A
Conversation with Ross Thomson
Are you working with any instructors now?
No, I have not
been working with an instructor.
How much do you
practice?
I practice about two hours a day, between three and
four times a week. I'll work on some chipping and
putting, then I might play nine or 18 holes. Sometimes I
may also go back to the range after playing to work on
my swing.
What has your
experience been like playing Atlanta Junior Golf events?
It has been fun. I have had a pretty good experience
this year. The players are nice. The staff has been
great and the tournaments are very well organized. I
have had a lot of fun.
How has playing in
the association helped your game?
It has given me more experience playing tournaments.
Playing in the events has gotten me more prepared to
play in other tournaments. It has been a great
experience.
What
was it like winning the
Atlanta Junior Golf Grand Championship?
It felt good. I wanted to shoot lower, but I was
pleased with the overall results. I was able to lower my
scores after each round, so I felt really good about
that.
