Club Championship
The Club Championship is conducted at the end of the
Summer Series. All 18-Hole Club Division
players will compete in a 36-hole competition over two days,
while 9-Hole Club Division players will compete in a nine-hole
competition contested only on the first day of play. The field is
comprised of the top 9- and 18-Hole Club Division players from
each age group. This competition is designed to
ready those players who desire advancement to the Open Division.
The top three players in each age group of the 18-Hole Club
Championship will earn exemptions into the Grand Championship,
the 18-Hole Open Division season-ending championship held the
following week.
Qualifications for Entry*

All qualifiers must be current AJG Members
and have participated in at least five Summer Series tournaments
during the current year

Previous year's Club Champions from the 9- or
18-Hole Club Division currently playing in the same division as
the previous year

Remaining players qualify on points (all ties
for final spots in each age group qualify)
Field Composition and Points
The field composition is dependent upon the
total number of players in each age group.
Double points are awarded to the top finishers.

not constitute an invitation to participate in the Club
Championship. Invitations are sent to qualifying junior golfers
the week before the championship.
