Q: What does the membership fee cover?
A: The membership fee includes the extensive Membership Benefits packet (which includes several gift items (towel, member bag tag, Rules of Golf book, etc.), eligibility to participate in the Summer Series tournaments and the opportunity to qualify for Season-Ending Championships, access to the Fall Series and the chance to experience many special events, including the Georgia Cup, Atlanta-Kauai Team Challenge, and College Day. Summer Series tournament entry fees vary by division and currently range from $15-$30 per tournament.
Q: I've been playing golf for years and know all the Rules. Do I still have to attend a Rules Seminar?
A: Yes. First and second-year members must attend an Orientation Seminar and a Rules Seminar, respectively. Juniors who have been members for 3 years or longer must take and pass an online Rules Quiz. Please see the Rules Education Policy for more details.
Q: I missed my Orientation or Rules Seminar, what happens next? Is there a make up session
A: If there is another Orientation Seminar or Rules Seminar scheduled, you may attend one of those. If there are no other seminars scheduled, you will be ineligible to play in Summer Series tournaments but will be eligible for the Fall Series. Please note that your membership fee will NOT be refunded. See the Rules Education Policy for more information.
Q: When will I get my tee times?
A: Tee times are available online by logging into your Player's Club account and viewing the tournaments you are scheduled to play. Tee times are typically available ten days before your event. You will receive an email from our office detailing your tee time as soon as it is available.

Q: Can I change my tee time?
A: No. Players must play at the time that is laid down by the committee. Certain unusual circumstances (e.g., weather delays, a large number of player no-shows, etc.) may require you to begin your round at a slightly different time than first published. We will inform you of any changes to your tee time when you arrive to check-in at the registration table. Every effort is made to have you start your round at the time originally assigned.
Q: When will the points be available?
A: Year-To-Date standings are available online by logging into your online account. Points and season statistics can also be found by selecting the "Season Statistics" tab beneath the "Tournaments" tab. Points are typically updated within 24 hours after an event has concluded.
Q: How many points do I get if I tie?
A: In the event that two players tie each other for any place, the points will be added and divided by two. For example, if John and Mark tie for 1st place, they will take the points for 1st and 2nd place, add them, divide that by 2 and each will receive 95 points for that event. A scorecard playoff will be conducted at the event only to decide who receives a first, second or third place medal.
Q: Does the number of competitors in an age group affect the points awarded?
A: No.
Q: How many people are invited to play in the Season-Ending Championships?
A: The number of people that are invited to participate in the Club Championship, 9-Hole Classic, and Grand Championship varies and depends on the number of people in each age division. A percentage which fairly represents each age group is invited. If one of those people cannot play, the next person on the list is invited. For example, assume there are 140 players in the 12 & Under Division and 80 players in the 13-14 Open Division. 20% of each age group is typically invited to the Grand Championship, so 28 12 & Under players will be invited and 16 13-14 players will be invited. However, due to players declining invitations, the person who finishes 30th in the 12 and Under Division may still be invited to play. Other factors that are taken into consideration include stroke averages and level of difficulty of the player's schedule.
